“Leading Excellence in Endoscope Decontamination”
A study day aimed at the teams involved in Endoscope decontamination from front line decontamination technicians up to senior management supporting Trusts to guarantee a team approach to patient safety.
Thursday 7th November.
iM Med is passionate about patient safety excellence, supporting compliance and the sharing of best practice and following the booked up success of the previous study days we are delighted to outline the upcoming programme.
The day commences with an inspiring presentation on Compass For Life, Elite Leadership & Performance by
Floyd M Woodrow MBE DCM
Floyd Woodrow was one of the youngest soldiers ever to be selected for the UK’s elite Special Air Service Regiment (SAS) at the age of 22. He has served in many different operational areas globally and was awarded the UK’s second-highest award for gallantry, the Distinguished Conduct Medal.
This frames the day for a fantastic programme of essential knowledge & practice guidance delivered by our expert speakers on the excellence required for safe & compliant practice as required for safe Endoscope decontamination.
Dr Helen Griffiths
Decontamination advisor for the BSG, Deputy head of assessors for JAG and ANP and Clinical Endoscopist for Powys teaching health board.
Wayne Spencer AED
Registered Authorising Engineer advising hospitals and organisations on all aspect of decontamination and sterilisation of medical devices.

9 am – 4pm
Delegates will be welcomed with hot bacon roles on arrival, a delicious 2-course lunch with tea, coffee, juice & biscuits throughout the day.
